Frequently asked questions
What's the actual difference between clean-read and verbatim?
Clean-read removes filler words, false starts and repetition for readability. Verbatim keeps everything, including pauses, and adds timecodes — used where an exact record matters, such as legal evidence.
Can you handle poor audio quality or strong accents?
In most cases, yes — tell us about the recording conditions when you order; we'll flag any sections that are genuinely inaudible rather than guess.
Do you provide timecodes on clean-read too?
Timecodes are a Verbatim-tier feature; if you need paragraph-level timecodes on a clean-read transcript, tell us and we'll confirm feasibility.
What file formats do you accept and deliver?
We accept MP3, WAV, MP4 or a hosted link; we deliver as an editable text or Word file.
Can this be used as legal evidence?
The Verbatim + timecodes format is built for that use; whether a specific court or body accepts it is a question for your legal counsel.
