You send a document, file or brief. We confirm scope — page or word count, language pair, and which tier or timeline fits — and respond within one business hour, Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00. This is also where we flag anything that changes the plan: illegible handwriting, an unusually large volume, a rare language pair.
Match.
Your project is assigned to a linguist (or, for Specialist/Regulatory tiers, a linguist plus a second reviewer) working specifically in that subject matter — legal, medical, technical, financial, audiovisual, or general. Not the next available name on a shared roster.
Translate & revise.
The work is translated, then independently revised before delivery on nine of our ten services — a second set of eyes checking against the source and against the relevant terminology or register. (Sworn translations are the one exception: the certifying MAEC-appointed translator is personally responsible for the translation under Spanish law, so no second-linguist revision is layered on top.)
Deliver.
Delivered in the format the service requires — a signed and stamped PDF, a subtitle file, a transcript, a translated string set — by the turnaround confirmed at step one, through the delivery method you chose.

GetPro Translations isn't a global network of anonymous freelancers billed through a platform. It's a boutique team working from a real office in Badalona, Barcelona — reachable by phone during stated hours, and accountable for the work with a named team behind it. When ten services share one page, they usually share one process too. Here, they don't: a sworn document and a subtitle file don't get finished the same way, so each of the ten has its own steps, its own tiers, and its own turnaround.

Frequently asked questions
Is a sworn translation from GetPro accepted by Spanish authorities?
Yes. Sworn translations are certified by translators appointed by Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC), which is what Spanish public bodies require for the translation to be accepted.
How do I know which service I need?
Start from the document or content type on /services/. If you're not sure, send it to support@getprotranslations.com and we'll point you to the right one within one business hour.
What if my document turns out longer than I estimated?
We confirm the exact page or word count once we've seen the file, before work starts, and adjust the total accordingly — no surprise invoice after delivery.
How do you handle confidential documents?
Access is limited to the linguists assigned to your order; nothing is shared with any third party. See our confidentiality commitment on /about/.
What happens if my deadline changes after I've ordered?
Tell us as soon as you can — we'll confirm whether the new date fits the tier you chose or whether an upgrade to Priority or Same-day is needed.
Do you offer terms for large volumes?
Anything over 50,000 words goes through a bespoke quote rather than the standard checkout — get in touch on /contact/.
