1. Who these terms apply to
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase of any service listed on getprotranslations.com by any individual or business ("you") from GetPro Translations, Passatge Riu Congost, 17, 08917 Badalona, Barcelona, Spain ("we", "us").
2. The services
We provide the ten services described on /services/: Certified & Sworn Translation, Legal Translation, Medical & Pharmaceutical Translation, Technical Translation, Business & Financial Translation, Website & App Localisation, Interpreting, Transcription, Subtitling & Audiovisual Translation, and Proofreading & Editing. Each service page states what is included, its tiers, its unit of pricing, and its typical turnaround.
3. Prices and IVA
All prices shown on this website are indicative, quoted in euros, and include 21% Spanish IVA unless stated otherwise. Your final price is confirmed once we have assessed the exact word/page count, audio/video length, or hours involved, against the tier you selected. Any material difference (for example, a document turning out significantly longer than estimated) is confirmed with you before work proceeds. Orders over 50,000 words, or requiring a rare language pair, unusual timeline or ongoing retainer, are handled by bespoke quote rather than standard checkout.
4. Placing an order
You place an order by adding one or more services to your cart and completing checkout, providing accurate contact and project details. Because this website does not accept file uploads, you must email your file(s) to support@getprotranslations.com, quoting your order reference, immediately after ordering. We confirm receipt and the final scope within one business hour during business hours (Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00). A contract for the service is formed once we confirm your order and scope in writing.
5. Payment
Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout and currently include: card payment (demonstration/test mode in the current build — no live card processing), bank transfer, and pay-on-invoice for business clients with an agreed account. Payment by bank transfer or invoice is due as stated at checkout or on the invoice. We reserve the right to pause work if payment is not received as agreed.
6. Delivery
Delivery method and any associated cost are chosen at checkout: digital delivery (email, included), certified hard copy by post within Spain (€9.50), certified hard copy by EU courier (€24.00), or pick-up at our Badalona office (free). Turnaround begins once we have confirmed the final scope of your order, not from the moment of payment alone.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under EU and Spanish consumer law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), consumers ordering a service online generally have 14 calendar days to withdraw without giving a reason. Because our services are digital/personalised services that we begin performing at your request before that period ends, you are asked at checkout to expressly request that we begin work immediately and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If work has not yet begun, you may withdraw within the 14-day period by contacting support@getprotranslations.com. If withdrawal is requested after work has started but before completion, our Refunds & Cancellations policy governs the amount refunded.
8. Liability
We are liable for delivering the service as described on the relevant service page and confirmed at order. We are not liable for decisions made based on the content of translated material, for the accuracy of source documents you provide, or for delays caused by information you provide late or inaccurately. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Spanish or EU consumer protection law.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you're unhappy with an order, contact support@getprotranslations.com first — see our Refunds & Cancellations policy for how quality issues are handled. If a dispute can't be resolved directly, EU consumers can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Barcelona, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence.
